Ticonderoga® #2 Wood Pencils, 2mm are by far the best pencils around (like my kids point out – It even says it on the box!) Its ok to substitute it for another USA made #2 pencil, but be wary of those Chinese made ones – especially the fancy ones. They break very easily and never sharpen quite right. It’s something your child will be spending many hours with and are one of his most important tools for a successful year. – Spend a little more and you’ll be happy you did.
